Using PDAs to Capture Inspection and Audit Information

E-SAFE 100 combines the most secure web technology, email and mobile phone communications with the latest wireless handheld devices (PDAs).

Inspectors and auditors use PDAs to capture inspection and audit information set against a comprehensive set of questions and remedial actions. Clients can create their own audit templates or purchase standard versions created by experts within each industry.

Onsite Auditing Saving You Time

Uniquely, frontline workers can reference accepted industry best practice at the point of audit; for example, the PDA can be loaded with client procedural documents.

No Need for Duplicate Paperwork

Upon completion of an inspection, data - including photographic evidence and audio notes - is synchronised with a secure server via WiFi, GPRS, network connection or pocket modem. There is no need for extensive report writing so evident with current data collection exercises. In particular, snag lists can be automatically sent out to the responsible parties avoiding the need to write up letters to each party.

Alert and Escalation System to Deal with Problems

Through an alert and escalation system based on e-mail and text messages all users and - where appropriate - their managers, are informed of their responsibilities in relation to inspections, non conformities and remedial actions. Business managers can change this escalation system using intuitive business rules written in plain English.
